About us

Cheers to Science is a science communication initiative that originated within the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Trieste and was conceived by doctoral students and early-career researchers.

The format combines short, accessible seminars with a convivial gathering, creating an informal space in which research, dialogue and community come together.

Our aim is to showcase the work carried out in the laboratories, to foster dialogue across disciplines and to bring science closer to people, both within and beyond the university.

For us, science communication is first and foremost an opportunity to share knowledge and build connections.
